Diverse Pressure (UK)
Dan aka Diverse Pressure is based in Doncaster (UK). After getting into the rave scene at the start of the 90’s and going to some of the best raves in the country inspired him to learn the art of DJ’ing, he then got a brand new set of Technics 1200’s which he still mixes on to this day after nearly 30 years. Music is a real labour of love for Dan and he has amassed a sizeable record collection of around 1500 vinyl, from 1991 and is still adding to his collection.
Some of his earliest DJ influences were DJ Hype, Grooverider, DJ Ratty, LTJ Bukem, Fabio just to name a few.
After mastering the art of mixing he then won a DJ comp at one of Doncaster’s underground record shops (Rhythm Nation) from this he gained a resident DJ slot at a night called the Perfect Beat and continued to play at various local events and parties around the late 90’s early 2000’s.
With the evolution of Drum and Bass over the years Diverse Pressure’s style ranges from Liquid, Atmospheric, Jazzy, Deep Drum and Bass to Jungle a true diverse cross section of styles from Artists such as Calibre, Furney, Lenzman, Seba, Paradox, Greek Boy, ASC, Eschaton, Ricky Force, Tim Reaper, Dwarde and many more! So you will be sure to get a real Diverse mix of sounds and styles crafted into a seamless mix which will take you on a journey.
Diverse Pressure presents ‘Synthetic Beatz Show’ live on Different Drumz Every second Tuesday of the month 6-8PM GMT / 1-3PM EST
