Since the young age of 11 DJ NME has been fanatical about underground music. Particularly jungle/drum & bass. Listening to Kool, Don and Dream FM he has watched and heard the scene and music morph into what it is today. At the age of 13 he started mixing and started to develop his now distinctive style. His love for the music and scene was and still is evident.
Soon NME was picked up by various promoters and booked for various events held in many venues across the capital such as Mass, Plan B, The Fridge. Not only that but he had regular shows on Life FM, Aftershockradio & globalgrooving. In 2003 he co-founded Urban Elite and ran dances in Croydon for three years working with people like Brockie, Ruffstuff, Hazard, Skibadee, Fun and the Ragga Twins to name but a few.
Now he is concentrating on pushing his career further with two radio shows a week on Afterdarkradio and of course Differentdrumz and also working closely with Kool FM and Jungle Fever.
