Menos is a Drum and Bass DJ hailing from South London with 10 years DJ-ing experience under his belt. He has a large collection of music with his earliest dance record being from 1989. His favourite era of Jungle/Drum and Bass is between 1992 and 1994, the productions of those tunes were both dark, euphoric and innovative in his eyes which makes them wicked tracks!! He likes to stay at the forefront of whats happening in the scene so as well as having an extensive back catalogue, you can always expect the freshest beats!!!

Recently we've seen the DnB scene go full circle in its style and the original jungle sound is coming back which caters for his personal taste and makes the scene Moorish. The crossover styles of liquid beats and dark bass lines along with the toned down jump up tunes makes DnB really exciting right now, lets hope it carries on!!!
He brings his style of audience interaction from his shows to the dances as we believe, and knows from personal experience, that a miserable DJ wont get a crowd going like a DJ who you can tell is having as much fun as the crowd they are playing for. Therefore we can promise you a good party through the radio or on stage!!!

As well as a show full of the freshest beats, he does like to take things back in time so you can also expect a dedicated old skool show from him once a month which is always good for the memories! Keep it LOCKED!!!!

Before joining Impact & DDz, he had shows on other stations around the south east region. His first stint on the airwaves was back in the day when the Huge house station that is Selekt UK 99.3 was a baby and played dance music across the genres. That was when they used the frequency was 89.6 fm!!! Long time ago!!! After that he actually lost a bit of faith in the DnB scene and where it was going, so actually stopped playing out for a couple of years until he decided that enough was enough and started to work his way back in! From there he joined London Soundz 107.3 fm and did a couple of months there until moving on to Pure 104 fm which is where he met a certain Andy M.

After leaving Pure, he was given his show on Impact 87.5 fm and then also a show on Original 97.8 fm! He likes to roll with his good pal, MC Dialekt Fizzy Beats and Crooked Use Resident who you can catch at various nights around East London, South London and Brighton. Menos and Dial go back a very long time, to skool days which is when they used to hang out with such DnB big hitters of recent times such as Dubalty and Renegade Hardware resident, MC K-eye. Although they do their own thing they have always kept tight and link up to smash the dance and radio whenever possible!!! Stay tuned for guest appearances on DDz!!!

He has been fortunate in the bookings that he gets as it is the people he has met along the way that have passed on his name. For this reason he has managed to play at events local to him and further afield on a national scale such as:
